About

I am an aspiring economic historian and political economist. Born and raised in Northern California’s East Bay, I currently reside in Boston, where I am a recent graduate of Tufts University and Research Assistant for the Global Development and Environment Institute. My areas of interest span trade, industrial organization, labor, education, economic geography, and food systems.

Keen to apply my budding scholarly expertise in sectors beyond the university, I gravitate toward mission-driven roles between policy work and economic journalism. I hope to activate my academic training in multiple disciplines and research methods—including advanced statistical techniques—so as to contribute rigorous, fact-driven analysis to conversations surrounding economic issues.

You will find updates on my research projects, publications, and other sporadic writings aggregated on the homepage of this website. Please feel free to reach out with professional inquiries where I might be of service.
