I am an aspiring economic historian and political economist with interests spanning trade, economic geography, industrial organization, education, and food systems. My academic research primarily addresses commercial and financial globalization in the late Ottoman Empire, particularly its Arab provinces. I graduated from Tufts University in 2025—where I majored in History, Economics, and Middle Eastern Studies—and am now an MSc candidate in Economic History at the London School of Economics & Political Science.

Keen to apply my budding scholarly expertise in and beyond the university, I gravitate toward mission-driven roles between policy work and economic journalism. I hope to deploy my academic training in multiple disciplines and research methods so as to contribute rigorous, fact-driven analysis to conversations surrounding global economic issues.
